PCS Moving to Fort Liberty? Here's How to Buy Fast
PCS timelines are unforgiving. You often have a few weeks of notice, limited leave, and a family waiting on an answer. The good news is that buying near Fort Liberty on a tight timeline is very doable when the order of operations is right.
Start with financing before you start with houses. A full pre-approval — not a pre-qualification — gives you a real number and makes your offer competitive. If you are using a VA loan, tell your lender up front so entitlement and funding fee questions are handled early.
Next, narrow neighborhoods before you fly in. Commute time to your gate, school assignment, and resale demand matter more than square footage. We can pre-tour homes by video so your in-person days are spent only on serious contenders.
Remote closings are routine here. Between electronic signatures and a mail-away closing package, plenty of our military clients have closed without being in the state.
Build in inspection time even when you are rushed. A fast close on a house with a bad roof is not a win.
